Grade Initial – Building confidence and enjoyment in performance
Trinity Initial Grade is an introductory performance examination for young learners, offering a gentle and encouraging first experience of speech and drama assessment. At this level, children explore basic storytelling, characterisation, movement and voice in a supportive, interactive setting that builds confidence, imagination and clear communication. The focus is on enjoyment, participation and expressive skills rather than technical accuracy, helping children develop self-esteem, focus and a love for performance while laying a strong foundation for future graded exams.
